New England Sings raised over $50,000 dollars, from which all proceeds will support youth in need through The Jimmy Fund, Zebra Crossings, First Parish Outreach, Ogunquit Playhouse, and the York County Community Fund.

New England Sings is a benefit youth vocal competition and performance, perfect for both aspiring artists and audience members looking to support local charitable work and enjoy an evening of entertainment. The 2017 event took place at the Ogunquit Playhouse on October 10th.

The competition is for anyone between the ages of 12 to 21 who resides in New England. Judges included former American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi, Ogunquit Playhouse artistic director Brad Kenney, and Bonnie Hayes, chair of the songwriting department at the Berklee College of Music. The show was hosted by Jadd Naamani from iHeartRadio z107.

New England Sings is presented by Inspired Nation, a non-profit that fosters young talent, builds community, and raises money and awareness for local youth-oriented charities. The 2017 event was sponsored by Congress Wealth Management, iHeartRadio, Stage Neck Inn, and Walkers.
